Aurora Mesropyan

2000, Belgium

"I love being on stage, knowing that I’ve just had the most sincere and caring conversation with the audience through movement."

Aurora is an Armenian pole dancer and performer, raised by her mother, brother, and sister in Limburg, Belgium. She grew up as a competitive tennis player and figure skater, and you can still see that influence in her pole dancing. Daniele Ippolito

Born 1998, Italy

"What fascinates me about circus is that we always, or almost always, have control over the risk."

Daniele's passions are balancing, manipulating objects, or finding a balance within them. He is constantly searching for new forms and the ideal center of gravity. He always tries to see the glass as half full, to perceive the creative side of things or situations, and to envelop everything in a layer of absurdity.

Josse Roger

°2000, Belgium

Theoretically, I’m an acrobat. In practice, I get distracted pretty easily.

Josse is a maker, so he… makes. Movement is currently his primary medium, but he’s always looking for an excuse to create: from notebooks and bathroom furniture to apps and robots. He jumps from one hyperfocus to the next, learning whatever is necessary and gradually becoming a jack-of-all-trades.

2015

Theater op de Markt (BE): Watching performances by companies like Akoreacro, XY, and Baro D’evel. It turns out his teenage opinion about his big sister’s “lame hobby” wasn’t exactly well-founded. Circus turned out to be pretty cool after all.

2015

Accepted into circus school: he might actually become a circus performer.

2015

Graduated from circus school: finally free from the golden cage he had locked himself in, but what now…?

2022 – present

Too many beautiful moments on and off stage to capture in just five points: creating deep, late-night kitchen-snack chats with guests after a long day; tears of relief in the wings after the premiere of a new piece; receiving a standing ovation after performing a three-hour opera he had to learn in two weeks; flying in banquine and being carried by an amazing group of people; mini-raves after lunch to get through intense days of creation — and so many more unforgettable dances, songs, games, deep conversations, and hours of laughter with fantastic people in the past, present, and future.

Marylou Aupic

 2001, France

"I get on bikes to go nowhere, I talk to say nothing, I jump to get tangled up in myself."

Research for Marylou begins in the real world as she perceives it; she uses character and movement work to capture a political, anarchistic approach—whether perceptible or not—on stage and everywhere else.

Luise Hoffmann

b. 1998, Germany

For me, the beauty of our work lies in performing through all of life's ups and downs. That makes every show special in its own way.

Luise believes it is impossible to choose just one discipline. In the circus, we are always finding new ways to push boundaries and combine existing disciplines. This opens up endless possibilities for constant discovery.

Patryk Paweł Kłos

Born 1990, Poland

"We don't stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing." – G.B. Shaw

Patryk is a curious movement artist who consciously ignores the labels of disciplines… Dance? Theater? Circus? The medium doesn't matter, as long as it allows him to express something from the depths of the material.

ShuHuan Chang

Circus makes me laugh, makes me cry, and touches me deeply. It teaches me how to care, how to love, and how to remain loyal and sincere.

Behind ShuHuan’s calm exterior lies a playful, clownish spirit—wild, passionate, and full of surprises.
