As a production manager with a background in theater and film and a tendency to collect bruises, I always thought circus was a foreign language to me. It turns out, however, that circus is magical precisely because it translates into a universal language.
Sam: better known as Chaos Coordinator Mama Mantha. The backbone of the organization. She manages, directs, supports, embraces, listens, builds, live-love-laughs, and keeps on going.
2012
After failing most of her first-year university courses, her grandparents took her out for cocktails and dinner to show her that—contrary to what she believed—it wasn't the end of the world.
2018
Following that: she graduated with high honors from her master's program at the university, and upon hearing the news, she jumped into a swimming pool fully clothed with her grandmother.

Finally getting her driver's license meant she could drive the tour van and travel the world with people who have become like family to her.

Her admiration for how the children of Tutti Fratelli lit up with excitement when she showed them the massive stage at hetpaleis where they would be performing.

March 20, somewhere in a cultural center in Flanders: The moment she flew on Bertha (the EXIT installation) for the first time and realized that she, too, is actually quite the circus artist.

Eerste danservaring bij dUb van fABULEUS. Ondanks zijn studie Wetenschappen Wiskunde, kiest hij voor een professionele danscarrière en wordt aangenomen op de Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, waar hij in 2018 afstudeert als choreograaf.
