ON POINT
Two men, one balance.
Two men balance on each other and through the space. They wobble and hesitate, navigating past shoulders and obstacles. What begins as a game develops into a shared challenge. Every step, touch, and shift must be precise. ON POINT.
‘ON POINT’ looks funny and dangerous all at once. Is it an absurd game, a playful jab, or underlying competition? Do you dare to trust the other, or are you skating on thin ice? Both performers, trained in acrobatics, duel with proportions in a wordless performance full of humor. Who will hold out? And just as importantly: for how long?

Piet Van Dycke incorporates both contemporary circus and dance into his work. This results in playful performances that stand out for their original use of space, objects, and bodies. He tackles his themes through the interaction between movement and acrobatics, creating images that energetically fold into ever-changing shapes.
