After failing most of her classes during her first year of university, her grandparents took her out for dinner and cocktails to show her that - contrary to her own belief - this wouldn’t be the end of the world.
2018
Following that, graduating top of her class for her masters at university, and upon hearing the news, jumping into a swimming pool fully clothed with her grandmother.
Since 2018
Finally getting her driver’s license, which meant she could drive the tour van and tour the globe with people that have come to feel like family to her.

Adoring how the kids of Tutti Fratelli lit up with excitement as she showed them the massive stage at hetpaleis that they would be performing on. (BE)

20th of March somewhere in a Flemish cultural centre: Flying on Bertha (the EXIT installation) for the first time and realising that, actually, she too is a circus artist.

Jonas Vermeulen is a self-taught jack-of-all-trades: one day a playful theatre maker, the next day a punctual spreadsheet designer, but for Circumstances he is mostly the business manager.

His very first experience in the performing arts: playing Jago in Othello by fABULEUS, which turned out to be the real starting point for his current life.

Piet – also known as the King of Chaos, Papa Piet, or the-man-with-the-overflowing-inbox – dances between disciplines, builds bridges, and choreographs human stories into an exciting, touching whole. He sets generations in motion, lets dreams grow in scenographies, and calms storms with a smile. Humble, yet always there. All for that one moment where everything falls into place. Starts his circus adventure as the third member of Circusatelier Salto in Tienen.
2007
Directs his first circus performance with brother Bob and sister Mart, under the name Bopima.
2009
Participates in the Ketnet program Circus, with the highlight being his own act in the Magic Circus Show in Geneva.
2014
First experience in dance with dUb by fABULEUS. Despite studying Science and Mathematics, he chooses a professional dance career and is accepted at the Fontys Academy for the Arts, where he graduates as a choreographer in 2018.
2022
EXIT premieres at Oerol. The start of a new adventure with an inspiring team of artists and collaborators.

Tuur is always excited to get on tour and work on the beautiful shows he gets to be a part of. He keeps on discovering the world of circus and is eager to see what the future will bring.
